Artist Biography
Katherine Ransom
Katherine Ransom is a graduate from E.C.U.A.D. with a B.F.A. in sculpture.
Ransom’s practice explores the relationship between science (specifically natural science) and art. Her works are constructed from organic materials with a sensitivity to the seemly fragile construction represented by nature. Her work is infused with a sense of humour but also with a deep concern for the environment and the living creatures that co-habit the planet.
